The first section of the book describes General Facilities required in a Modest Biotechnology Laboratory. Detailed notes on major equipments used in a lab are provided. The book has the distinction of providing lined diagrams (which can be drawn easily) alongwith real photographs (providing exact idea of the equipment). In section II & III, a large number of experiments based on concepts in Plant Tissue Culture, Molecular Biology, Recombinant DNA Technology and Biochemistry have been described. For the experiments based on plant tissue culture and molecular biology, suitable photographs have been on plant tissue culture and molecular biology, suitable photographs have been provided to give an exact idea of the results which one may expect in a particular experiment. Suitable flow-charts have also been given wherever necessary.
